What I am working on at the moment

I’m currently leading Ashoka’s strategy for transforming education systems, taking an ecosystems approach that requires the modelling of new leaning ecosystems at a city level.

Why I wanted to join the Participatory City Global Advisory

Participatory City is a very interesting project and could have huge potential as a model that could be connected to other city models.

A little bit about my background

I came to my work after designing and launching over 20 business on 5 continents – doing this in education for 6 years with Pearson – and then leaving Pearson to establish a new education programme with young people in Africa. Ashoka has pioneered the field of social entrepreneurship and is now expanding its work to pioneer the transformation of growing up so that every young person is on a journey to becoming a changemaker. I’m based in London but, with a global remit, I travel extensively.
