Neighbourhood Team

The Neighbourhood team members are based in local high street shops and are the entry point for residents and local organisations. Responsible for growing the network of projects & businesses. The network will grow to 5 HQs with 25 hubs over the initial 5 years.

Projects Co-ordinator

Four roles available

Full-time, fixed term contract to 31 July 2019 (extendable subject to further funding)

About this role: Responsible for and working at one of the Neighbourhood Shops and will be collaborating collaborating with the other Neighbourhood Project Coordinators at other shops. You may be required to work at different locations across the borough as demand and needs require.

Salary: up to £21,250 - £23,750 per year.

gascoigne community co-ordinator.jpg

Gascoigne Community Co-ordinator

15 hours per week, 1 year fixed term (extendable subject to further funding)

About this role: The Community Co-ordinator will run a ‘living room’ with the help of residents on the Gascoigne Estate, with the main purpose of giving residents a space to meet, have tea, chat and find common interests and share ideas.

Salary: up to £25,000 (pro-rata)

Warehouse Project Manager

Full-time, fixed term, 4-6 months depending on funding

About this role: A lead role in the project management of our public and free makerspace. You’ll lead on the design and shape of the space from concept through to implementation.

School Team

Based in The Warehouse, the team is responsible for knowledge building (research, analysis, codification, development evaluation) and knowledge dissemination and scaling learning in the neighbourhoods and through the City Programme.

Programmes Director

Full time - fixed term contract to 31 July 2019 (extendable subject to further funding)

About this role: Responsible for content and delivery of Education Programme. You will design and deliver workshops, lessons, field visits and other learning formats.

Salary: up to £47,500 per year.

Researcher -  4-6 months fixed term contract (extendable further subject to role and funding) 

About this role: You will be part of the Neighbourhood School team, working towards developing, reframing, and delivering the research programme. You will work at the heart of the the Neighbourhood School as part of an incredibly exciting research programme for this ground-breaking, system-change initiative, innovating and integrating multiple research methodologies.

Co-Production Lab

The Co-production Lab team members are based in The Warehouse and are responsible for co-production design and systemic integration of participatory ecology, services, businesses and industry, integrating responses from multiple actors to complex issues.

 Lab Director

About this role: Undertake redesign work specifically focused on how institutional services, businesses and organisations and the expanding participatory network integrate. This is an exciting and challenging role for an experienced social lab specialist who has high levels of design skills and a strong practical working knowledge of a wide range of methodologies and strategies for system analysis and design

Development Team

Graphic Designer

6 month contract - 2/3 days per week

About this role: The graphic designer will support the production of our quarterly Development Evaluation reports which will be published to keep the residents, funders, councillors and partners fully up to date with the project's process.  A passion for diagrams and communicating clearly and simply essential.
